A million thanks to everyone that helped with youth group this year! It is unbelievable how quickly the time went. Plans are in the works for summer meetings and activities. All information and dates will be posted on the youth bulletin board.
Please continue to pray for our youth and young adults. They are an amazing group (as you already know).

Mt. Chestnut Christian Preschool

We end our school year with great success.
Our many thanks to Elder Jodi Cygan, Teachers: Jennifer Geibel & Megan Lineman, Aides: Tricia Dulya & Krystin Coleman, Parent Volunteers, Parents & Students for a wonderful 2009/2010 School Year.
We are now accepting registrations
for the 2010/2011 school year.

4-Year-Olds: Our Graduation and Carnival was a great success. Thank you parents for entrusting us with your children. Our many blessings go out to all the parents who volunteered to help, we couldn't have done it with you.  The release of our butterflies signifies a new beginning with great things to come.
3-Year Olds:  We ended our year with a great Carnival Picnic.  We had three baby chicks hatch in the classroom. We enjoyed a fun Mother's Day Tea, and even remembered the fathers with a photo frame.  Thanks go to: Pastor Jeff for his monthly Bible stories, all the parents for your weekly dedication, our parent volunteers, and also local farmers Ken Metrick & Ken Laughlin for "saving" our baby chicks.  Enjoy your summer!

Moment for Missions"...

Compassion International Sunday - May 16th, 2010
*"It begins with a child..."
On Sunday, May 16th, Mt. Chestnut will host a one-day event to draw attention to the needs of some of the world's poorest children.
Some of you have sponsored children in the past and know first-hand how God can use us to bring lasting change to the lives of kids who otherwise may never know Jesus and are headed for a lifetime of suffering and hardship.
The cost is $38 per month and provides a sponsored child with health services, educational assistance, supplemental food, and most importantly the indredible news that Jesus loves each and every one of them.
If you currently sponsor a Compassion Child we'd love to have you share your stories with the congregation on May 16th. How has this impacted your life? Your children? Have you received letters?
After church services that day a table will be set up in the entryway where you can review information. The table will stay up for a few weeks if you would like some time to think and pray about this opportunity before making a commitment.
Thank you! - The Missions Ministry Unit
